Camcorders are one of the hottest selling electronic products at present. Camcorder has a video camera and voice recorder together integrated into it. The three basic functions/features of a camcorder are Lens, Imager and Recorder. The work of a Lens is to gather and focus light over the Imager. The third and important function is converting and recording these electronic video signals into storages able format and that is done by Recorder. One of the most important parts of a camcorder is Lens. The basic function of Lens is to adjust and manage the quantity of light, to give the flexibility of zooming in, zooming out and thirdly to provide with correct shutter speed to capture the video. The output of the recording is very poor if the shutter speed is not adjusted especially when the object is moving fast. Camcorders on its own, adds some documentation information to the video recorded such as date and time of recording. Later on when you see the replay, you will find date and time information along the corners of the screen. These settings of date and time can be adjusted and set in different country formats. For example in some countries the date format is “dd-mm-yyyy” and in some countries its “mm-dd-yyyy”.
